Marriage Affairs:SIGNS OF IMMATURITY IN MARRIAGE FOR MEN:

Featured

Really,do you quite agree with it that some men are immature in their marital affairs? If you don’t think so,then maybe some of this points will prove you wrong !!

1) Rejecting food when there’s an issue: Oga husband, you gave your wife money for food and after it was prepared you refused to eat because you dey vex. It’s one of the greatest signs of immaturity, it’s time to grow up!
You should not even abandon your home for any reason, you could go somewhere when angry but ensure that you don’t allow it to linger unnecessarily because that is enough for the devil to build on.

2) Telling your wife severally that you are the head: May I let you know that even when your wife disobeys/ disrespect you she still knows that you are the head. You need not shout or scream it daily. It’s important for you to know when and how to be firm and put your feet down over issues, however don’t become a nagging husband just to prove that you are the head.

3) Issuing threats: beating, verbally abusing your wife, issuing threats of divorce or bragging about marrying another wife does not make you a man. Your strength is in your ability to tame your tongue and control your fist. When she is acting her “childish woman” part, play the “matured man.”

4) Reporting your wife to friends and family: When your wife offends you, correct and talk things through. You don’t have to tell everyone about her mistakes, that will paint her black and sell her cheap such that you will not be able to redeem her back.

5) Keeping malice: is it not funny to know that some men keep malice? Some of them even nag, criticize, abuse and call their wives names in public. It may make you look like a “big boy” who’s in control but you are not going to gain anything good from it, your home will only be a den of insults and confrontations.

6) Not helping with house chores: I must say here that it is the sole responsibility of a woman to tend and manage a home. However, it’s not a bad thing if a man lends a helping hand when necessary.

“Watching football with newspaper in your hand every evening, not caring how stressful the house chores are will only increase the pressure on your wife and if you truly care you’ll help, just checking on her while busy could encourage and sooth her, this also makes you a good example to the kids especially the boys. Some men don’t even say “thank You” to their wives after eating, all they do is compare her with other women. It’s a shame that after having 3-4kids some men cannot change a simple diaper or prepare cereal.

“Lastly, every man should have a church/mosque where his family is watered and raised spiritually. This makes you accountable, it’s immaturity and dangerous to be a sheep without a shepherd. As you learn and grow in the right fold, you’ll be able to take the lead as the head of the home…..”

The civil war ended which led to the death of over 3 million Biafrans mostly kids and women through starvation policy implemented by Gowon led govt with the advise from Awolowo. Reconstruction and rehabilitation started in Western region instead of Eastern region where the war occurred.

The war occurred as a result of the non-implementation of Aburi Accord and the continued massacre of Igbos in northern Nigeria which started in 1945 (Jos). This made Dim Emeka Ojukwu (then Governor of Eastern Region) to declare an Independent State of Biafra,

Type RIP for those that were killed in this senseless war!

The Nigerian Civil War, also known as the Biafran War, 6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970, was an ethnic and political conflict caused by the attempted secession of the southeastern provinces of Nigeria as the self-proclaimed Republic of Biafra. The conflict was the result of economic, ethnic, cultural and religious tensions mainly between the Hausas of north and the Igbo of the southeast of Nigeria. Over the two and half years of the war, 1 million civilians died from famine and fighting. The war became notorious for the starvation of some of the besieged regions during the war, and consequent claims of genocide by the largely Igbo people of the region.

May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace amen !!

She needs our prayers and love: Police Release Yetunde Akilapa [Pictures]

Featured

The police in Lagos state have released the detained up and coming actress, Yetunde Akilapa allegedly caught on Sunday for house burglary in Magodo Estate. Read it HERE

Yetunde Akilapa was allegedly beaten black and blue by some residents of the area when she was caught in possession of a bunch of master keys.

She was detained at a police station in the area on Sunday. The Yoruba actress, who is with the Odunfa caucus, was reportedly released after her lawyer and family members intervened in the matter.

One of her colleagues informed Nigeriafilms.com that Yetunde’s matter is spiritual and called for prayers on her behalf.

Recall that Yetunde only regained freedom in November 2013 from a similar alleged offence. She then told First Weekly magazine in an interview in December 2013 that her friends set her up.

Her Story : *This is not a movie*

Stealing runs through her veins the way blood runs through yours!……This actress may not be a household name for you and i but she is slowly edging a name for herself as a thief…a thief who has keys that can open any door that you think you may have locked. Yetunde is not a first time thief though,Her matter was in the news in February 2013, when it was reported that she was arrested for robbery by the police in Alade, in Somolu area of Lagos State. She was later taken to court by the police for prosecution, but she was discharged and acquitted after the court said her prosecutor didn’t present a proper case that could lead to her conviction.

She has done it again, On Sunday Morning of January 12,2014,there was a loud noise in Magodo phase 2,No 15 Ibitayo street to be precise and people were shouting ”thief thief”! and running after a lady in a black dress …the lady in the black dress was running like a horse without shoes, running inside a walled estate…unfortunately for her, before she could get to the gate, the security on duty mobilised and caught her.

She was escorted back to number 15 Ibitayo street where she had been caught inside the master bedroom with a bunch of master keys hidden in her brassiere. the occupants of this house are not friends with the actress and have never met her before or share close friends with her but something strange may be the missing link.

“Cross-carpeting lawmakers have betrayed their constituents” – Onuoha-Bourdex

Featured

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State, Dr. David Ogba Onuoha-Bourdex has accused lawmakers who recently defected from the party to the All Progressives Congress, APC, of betraying the members of their constituencies.

His position is coming at a time the leadership of the Senate is threatening to declare vacant the seat of any member who dumps the PDP for the APC.

In a press release made available to DailyPost in Enugu on Sunday, Onuoha-Bourdex expressed dismay that none of the legislators that have defected to parties outside the original platform upon which they were elected to the National or State Assembly held a constituency meeting to sample the opinion of their constituents before jumping ship.

He said the mass defection of elected representatives from one political party to another before the expiry of their mandates presents another painful challenge to Nigeria’s growing democracy, pointing out that this had also shown the wisdom of President Goodluck Jonathan in consenting to the national dialogue.

While pleading with members of the National Assembly to “deploy great tact and care in handling this unforeseen development”, Onuoha-Bourdex stressed that “at this point in time of our national development, national interest should override parochial concerns”.

He noted that after fourteen years of uninterrupted democratic governance in the country, more citizen enlightenment was needed to handle the challenges of accommodating diverse opinions, adding that legislators are better placed to offer this public education through constituency consultations and town hall meetings.

He emphasized that “our citizens need to be enlightened about the processes of legislation and governance so as to value the interaction they should have with their representatives; this way interactions between representatives and constituents should be comprehensive and consistent in fashioning out their real needs”.

On the attempts by party leaders to ensure that defecting legislators lose their seats, Onuoha-Bourdex contended that since political parties are assumed to have presented prospective policy programmes on which voters made their choices through votes, legislators that defect carries a moral burden.

“Instead of allowing the development to heat up our polity, the individual defectors should be allowed to carry the moral burden of betrayal of trust and disloyalty. I say this because in the voting process, the voters are generally assumed to be voting for the party whose programmes are closest to their own policy preferences and the representative who clearly embodies the party’s platform.

“Effective representation therefore is when voters’ expectations from the party and from its representatives, are matched with realization of the espoused policy programmes. This is evident when the party and the representatives promote the interests of the constituents in the legislative process, and also are available to provide assistance to the constituents, understand their concerns and represent their interests in the legislative process”, he stated.

The PDP chieftain, who is also a telecom expert, said it would amount to rewarding robbery for erstwhile opposition parties to enjoy majority gained through the back door by the defection of members from rival party instead of that majority being conferred by the masses via a general election.

“In a civilized democracy, violent takeovers should not be encouraged. By their position and status, legislators should be seen as honourable and decent gentlemen. Conspiracy and all forms of underhand dealing does not befit the stature of honourable law makers in a modern democracy”, he declared.

Tony Kanu: Did Some Igbos Naively Join The “CRUCIFY HER !” Chants Too Early?

Featured

The Stella Oduah forged certificate saga is still ongoing barely some months after the bullet proof cars saga simmered down ! I have been keenly following her story and in all honesty,it is getting more interesting and intriguing as ots quite évident now that Stella our amiable aviation minister is being hounded by some powerful cabals who uses the services of sahara reporters ,an online media house to destroy and tarnish her image . But,believe me the truth is unfolding gradually as pointers is showing that she is being framed. Catching my exact thought is the write up of Mr. Tony Kanu . Gracious Grace

From Tony Kanu :
In the past few days, the unsavoury story abuzz has been that of Nigeria’s Aviation Minister Ms Stella Oduah and she’s once again placed on butchers’ slabs of print, electronic & social media outlets; But this time for alleged certificate forgery and not for purchase of ‘wonder-on-wheels’ bullet-proof SUVs.

The aforesaid ‘butchers’ are the same group of
Yoruba smear mongers & ‘Anti-Jonathan/Igbo’
media outlets like Sahara Repoters, Premium Times, Osun Defender et al that work tirelessly to rubbish the so-called “Pro-Igbo Jonathan administration” and obviously doing the malicious damages for the opposition & the Yoruba cabal in Nigeria’s Aviation sector; A cabal that have for many years held down the Aviation sector, prior to Oduah’s appointment and being adjudged as the best Aviation Minister in recent times by ardent Aviation sector watchers.

Now the big question for us as the Igbo and the
obvious antagonism the South East geopolitical zone now face for ‘UNUSUALLY’ having some key positions in Nigeria since President Jonathan’s emergence is, “Why did some of the Igbo join them too early in yelling & chanting “CRUCIFY HER!!!”, when the appropriate quarters or institution in question never confirmed she actually forged her certificate and when we know this may just be another propagandists’ attempt to do the dirty job for the opposition or the aforementioned cabal?

Are we going to always pretend some ethnicities in the Nigerian set-up don’t strive on tribalism &
assassination of character to achieve certain goals? And the fact that most happenings/political appointments/have been based on ethnic sentiments? A situation where certain individuals from a section of the Country may feel its their ‘Birthright’ to hold down certain positions/Ministries. Have we as the Igbo forgotten so soon that Ndi-Igbo in positions of power at the Federal level have always been targets of smear campaigners from the North & West even before Goodluck Jonathan, whom they ludicrously accuse of favouritism for Ndi-Igbo, became President? How many of these ugly instances have we forgotten so soon? Are we going to allow ourselves be used as their extended agencies for the destruction of our own Igbo kith in power when we know its still the same old anti-Igbo elements at work?

This is realism and it amounts to self-denial if any Igbo chose to or failed to view the current Stella Oduah saga first with tribal lens, owing to Nigeria’s ethnic inclinations on all fronts.

It also amounts to gullibility of some Igbo themselves that joined the Igbo antagonists, detractors & the known Igbo-haters, in this ‘Stella Oduah condemnation’ without concrete evidence & proper confirmation from the appropriate quarters just as the same ‘Sahara liars’ have now shamefully changed the story.

Believe it or not, Ndi-Igbo are at cold-war in the
Nigerian contraption and the moment we begin to realize this, we’d all have better understanding of what we are facing & better approach if we still wish to be relevant as major players like the other ethnicities from the North, West & recently the South- South.

I am not in support of bad deeds whatsoever owing to tribal bearings but as Igbo and the years of betrayed trust, attacks & marginalisation of the Igbo tribe by our co-inhabitants that don’t hide their hatred for the Igbo, we should never fall for their ‘stories’ hook, line & sinker. We should always look before we leap.

I hope Ms Stella Oduah will take legal actions against Sahara Reporters immediately & claim damages that will see them run out of their malicious business of character assassination & smear reportage.

I guess some Igbos will learn from this and cease subconsciously aiding Igbo detractors against Ndi-Igbo.

Zambian Politician Charged For Calling President A Potato

Featured

Cant help but to laugh at the title of this message !! LOL

Zambian police have arrested and charged an opposition leader with defamation, after he compared the president to a potato, a party ally told AFP Tuesday.

Frank Bwalya, head of the Alliance for a Better Zambia, allegedly referred to president Michael Sata as “Chumbu Mushololwa” during a live radio broadcast Monday.

The Bemba term literally refers to a sweet potato that breaks when it is bent and is used to describe someone who does not heed advice.

“The police decided to arrest and charge him with defamation of the president,” Eric Chanda, the secretary general of Alliance told AFP.

If convicted, Bwalya faces a maximum jail term of five years.

Bwalya, a former Catholic priest and supporter of Sata when in opposition, is just the latest opposition leader to run afoul of Zambia’s leader.

In September, Nevers Sekwila Mumba of the Movement for Multiparty Democracy was questioned by police after calling Sata a liar.

Ex-president Rupiah Banda has been hauled before the courts on numerous corruption charges.

“President Sata is the same old man who was on all radio stations defaming former presidents Banda and Mwanawasa and nobody arrested him,” said Chanda.

42 Year Old NollyWood Actress Bimbo Akintola Cries out:I am not looking for a husband

Featured

My people, please I have a question that is baffling me after reading Bimbo’s interview and response . Can a lady be comfortable and complete without a husband in our society today? I know that husbands are the prides of women especially in our african society and settings . And I also know that there is this deep void and longing for warmth and love by any and every spinster no matter the level of sophistication and comfort or am I wrong on this?

During a recent interview with Vanguard, actress Bimbo Akintola said the worst rumour she’s ever heard about herself is that she’s desperate for a husband.
This is what she had to say about that below:

Oh, that I’m looking for a husband, that I’m desperate for a husband. That’s the worst I’ve heard and that’s the latest one. I’m not looking for a husband and I don’t need one.

I don’t need anything. I’m a complete person. I only do things that make me happy, because I believe and I understand the reality that this is just one life and you should live it to the maximum, happiness and peace should be the key. I’m not searching for a husband, because the rumour that I’m searching for a husband has given me wahala,- all kinds of people from left, right and centre, looking for me saying they want to marry me.

Please, I’m using this opportunity to tell everybody, I am not looking for a husband!

So, if you know you were among those spreading the rumour, she urges you to please STOP

High Court Bombed In Rivers State

A High Court in Ahoada East LGA of Rivers State was bombed yesterda morning Monday January 6th, according to reports from the state.

The Will Nigeria reports
The bombing of the court where Justice Charles N. Wali usually holds court, reportedly occurred on Monday morning a few hours before a politically charged suit against Hon Evans Bipi, a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly and leader of a group of 6 lawmakers, who has been unlawfully parading himself as the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Justice Wali had about a month ago ordered Bipi to stop parading himself as Speaker of the House as the tussle over control of the state government between loyalists of the Presidency and the Rivers Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, lingers with an end in sight. Women With Cocaine Under Wigs Arrested At Madrid Airport

Featured

From breast implants to prosthetic rumps, smugglers have devised some innovative ways to try to traffic cocaine to Europe.

In one of the latest attempts, authorities said two women hid cocaine under wigs while flying from Brazil to Spain, according to local reports. Though meticulously concealed, the ruse was unsuccessful, and the two suspects were recently arrested by authorities at the Madrid–Barajas Airport.

Officials said the two Portuguese women traveled separately from São Paulo with 1.2 kilograms (about 42 ounces) each stashed under their fake hair. The white powder, which drug testing later confirmed was cocaine, was secured in six pouches that were sewn into a black plastic cap.

The 18-year-old and 28-year-old were both arrested by Spanish police and accused of a crime against public health, Spanish news outlet ABC reports.

Authorities described the smuggling method as difficult to detect since the faux mane resembled real hair.

“The packages were perfectly adhered and did not stick out from under the wigs, which made the narcotics imperceptible,” the Guardia Civil police and Spain’s Interior Ministry said in a statement, according to the Agence France-Presse.

Two women from Guyana also tried to pull the same ploy in 2012 and attempted to smuggle a comparable amount of cocaine under their wigs into the United States. They were caught at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport after customs officers became suspicious and patted them down, feeling the bulge on their heads.

Shocking: Pregnant Man Delivers a Baby Girl In Argentina [PHOTOS]

Featured

The first baby by transgender parents was delivered via C-section in the province of Entre Ríos, Argentina.

The happy couple is 26-year-old Alexis Taborda and 28-year-old Karen Bruselario. Alexis was born a woman, but lives as a man and Karen was born a man, but lives as a woman.

The couple have both been able to legally change their genders without gender reassignment surgery, which meant that when they got pregnant via natural means, it was the man, Alexis, who carried the baby. This became possible due to Argentina’s Gender Identity Law passed in May of 2012.

The baby was due on December 22 via scheduled C-section, but Alexis started having contractions the weekend before the scheduled birth, and the baby was born “earlier” weighing 9.37 pounds (4.25 kg) at Hospital Fermín Salaberry in Victoriain.

The couple named their baby girl Génesis Evangelina.

It would be recalled that the couple has officially tied the knot in November 2013. As you may notice from the photos, the ‘man’ has already been heavily pregnant at the time of the wedding.

Prophect TB Joshua’s Prophecy: “Many will fall in 2014”

Featured

Every new year, pastors and various ministers of God share with their congregation the blueprint of the year – Prophecies.

These prophecies are meant to guide Christians on living their best and how to avoid being victims of the negative aspects of the prophecies.

The very outspoken Prophet TB Joshua of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) also revealed his. He spoke on various issues including the political system of the country, the airline industry and a whole lot more jaw dropping revelations.

Renowned Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua has declared 2014 as a year of “crossing the bridge”, prophesying it to be a year of destiny where corruption would be corrected in Nigeria as corrupt leaders would go down.

It was an electric atmosphere in The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) where large crowds thronged to usher in the New Year 2014. T.B. Joshua came out around 11pm to deliver his much anticipated prophetic message in a broadcast beamed live via the churches popular television station Emmanuel TV.

He first counseled believers to stay steadfast in faith despite the challenges that would arise in the coming year. “We are tempted so that we may pray the more. Afflictions are meant for our spiritual benefit,” he encouraged the congregants and television viewers.

Moving on, he spoke about what was to be expected in the New Year, attendees listening with rapt attention and scribbling notes as he spoke. “This New Year 2014 is not like any other year in the past. It is a year of crossing bridge. To cross the bridge, you need to grab onto faith,” he began. “This is not going to be easy for the mighty. Many of the mighty will fall. Pray for them. The rich, famous and popular people – many will fall this 2014 because crossing the bridge is not going to be easy; they need God. Many of them believe it is their own making to be great in their own area of expertise.”

He went on to decry the effect this ‘fall’ would have on the business world as, according to him, “98% of businesses and companies are owned by these people.” Specifying a field of business that would especially be affected, he said the airline industry would face multiple challenges, leading to an unprecedented rise in ticket prices, particularly noting that African airlines would be most affected. Joshua further declared 2014 to be a year of destiny for those would ‘follow the ways of the Lord’. “Many people that are not known will be rise by destiny,” he prophesied.

Talking about the current Nigerian political situation, Joshua said, “There will be a leadership tussle on who will lead and who will be presidential candidate in APC which will affect them as a political party. They should be vigilant. Many are with them in flesh but not with them in spirit.” Talking about the current crisis Nigeria’s ruling party PDP are embroiled in, the prophet stated that they would ‘pay any price to unite’ but that the issue of who would be the presidential candidate would cause challenges.

“Many of the key leaders in political parties will go down in 2014,” Joshua then announced to the somber audience. “If many key leaders go down with 2014, what will now happen in 2015? Pray for 2015 to be fulfilled. The beginner is not the owner but the finisher.”

He then stated to thunderous applause that 2014 would see a positive improvement for the nation in the area of corruption. “What will happen in 2014 will result in the correction of the corruption in Nigeria because many corrupt leaders will go down in 2014.”

Joshua then prayed for the congregants who all lit candles to symbolize the dawn of the New Year. “God has promised that 2014 is the year of destiny. Your destiny cannot be changed. This New Year, your destiny cannot be tampered with. I command your dream to come true, your dream to come to fulfillment, in Jesus’ name.”

From Chime and Clara: What I learned about the Nigerian attitude to marriage

Featured

Valentine Uche Chukwuma:

There are reports that the governor of Enugu State Sullivan Chime and his wife Clara are on the path of separation. I wish them well in whatever decision they make.

What caught my attention more than anything else was the mindset of a lot of Nigerians as was revealed during the debate among Nigerians on this issue.

Let me preface this post by revealing that I am not married, and I have never been married. While this revelation might instinctively direct the married ones among you to dismiss my perspective as that of an inexperienced observer laced with utopian ideologies, I crave your indulgence in asking that you grant me the privilege to make my submissions from an ideological and “would like to do” perspective as opposed to the more acceptable perspective of “experience.”

I love the women in my life. I have one sister who is very dear to me, and I have several female cousins who I love and cherish so much. I have several female friends who have developed very strong and special relationships with me. Suffice it to say that I care about my women and their interests.

This brings me to the subject of my post, which is the attitude of the average Nigerian man towards our women and the mistakes a lot of our women are making.

Let me start off by admitting that a lot of our women are just not worth the headache. They can be difficult to deal with, and in a lot of cases are the architects of their own problems. The idea of independence while commendable in women that espouse it and admirable by men that value a good woman, and something that should be encouraged in many growing women, is something that can be taken too far by some women and it scares the sensible men away from them, and can spell trouble for those who get married and have unappealing attitudes in the name of independence.

Having said that, some of our men are disasters. A large number of our men cheat on their women. It is standard practice among a huge number of our men. This is brutally candid, but it is the reality of our society. A lot of our men see fidelity as a privilege rather than a right their wives are entitled to. The sad thing is that we expect these women to exhibit the highest standards of fidelity. Many men would argue that some women deserve to be cheated on. The truth is that I agree to an extent that some women are impossible to deal with no matter how much you try. But that is the price of marriage. If it’s too much for you to handle, then walk away rather than start mistreating her. A lot of our women suffer in marriages because the men just unequivocally abuse them sometimes for reasons that don’t warrant the reaction.

As much as some of us would want to blame our women for their plight, it is we men that should take most of the blame. We are mostly irresponsible in the way we treat our women. In Nigeria, most of the time, the women are the victims and we need to change that. The way some of us treat women is not very fair.

When it comes to marriage, a lot of our women are treated like commodities that you buy at the store and if you don’t like it, you just return it or throw it away. We don’t treat them like roses that we have to nurture to keep alive and happy in order for them to remain beautiful, even when the thorns sting us occasionally. They are difficult but we should bear the burden of keeping the peace. That is why we are the men. They can be emotional and sentimental, but we have to be very tolerant and extremely forgiving. It’s what we have to do.

Some men see our women as their property, and the women just have to do whatever the men say. The unfortunate aspect of this is that society allows it. That is why a man can return a woman to her family if he no longer wants her, but a woman cannot return a man to his family if she no longer wants him. Why can we leave if we no longer want in, but they have to stay?

The most irritating part for me is this idea that women need men and that if you are married, you should stay in the marriage regardless of how he treats you. That is an area our women need education on. No woman should be beat up, maltreated, denied care and love and above all subjected to the humiliation of having her private marital problems become the subject of public conversations that end up bringing ridicule to her. Rather than go through that, damn the consequences of the Church and society and walk away. God will understand. It is easy for me to say this to women in the educated class with professional careers. But what about the housewife who is not a professional? I cut a lot of the women in these situations a lot of slack. Those of them who are of poor backgrounds or are not properly educated, end up being tormented in the name of marriage by some very useless men. Some of the educated ones who end up in bad marriages stay through it because of the stigma associated with losing a marriage.

Our society needs to evolve. The world has changed. Men need to start seeing women as partners with whom they are on a journey of life, rather than as subjects who are obligated to abide by their dictates.

It is no longer a world where your wife is only good for cooking your food, washing your clothes, taking care of your children, having sex with you, and saying “yes sir” to everything you demand. It is now a world where your wife in addition to her traditional chores, has an opinion on everything that involves your family. It is now a world where she can ask you questions that her mother dared not ask her father. It is now a world where you both make plans for your future together and the future of your children with both of you being equal partners in those decisions. They are no longer sidekicks, they are partners. At least that is the kind of marriage I want for my sister, cousins and future daughters.

My advice to women is very simple. Don’t try to prove your independence or toughness. You will destroy your marriage. Trust your man and respect him. Try to do the things that make him happy and try to subject yourself to his authority. It will not kill you, and you will be surprised how much power you will end up having when he is happy and feels like he is in control of his household. For men, it is about ego. If you massage his ego, you will get everything you want. If you try to show him that you have arrived and you are your own person, your marriage will end before you know it. God has made you women the most powerful creatures on earth. You don’t need to be looking for more power, or proving your power. It is inherent. Let the man keep deluding himself that he is in charge, while you run things. Being in charge as a woman is a lot simpler than you think.

Chauvinism and feminism are great for society, but they are not great for a happy marriage- VUC.

Woooow what a great piece from VUC!! My people what’s your take on this topic? Share your views here with us!

Virtue Is The Watch Word!!

A woman’s virtue is tested when her man has nothing while a man is tested when he has everything.
If you what to know what a woman is truly made of give her a man who has nothing and if she stays faithful you have a wife.

If you want to know what a man is truly made of, give him wealth, if he stays faithful then you have a worthy husband

Boy kidnapped in Abuja church freed for N1.5m

Featured

A-10-year old boy, Chibuike Ogbusu, who was abducted at St. Bartholomew Cathedral Church (Anglican Communion) Kubwa, Abuja last week, has been released.

The boy was released early Sunday morning by his abductors after collecting a N1.5 m ransom.

It was learnt that the kidnappers had asked a commercial motorcyclist to take Chibuike to his family house after collecting the ransom at Dei-Dei, a few minutes’ drive from Kubwa.

Chibuike had attended the Boys Brigade’s rehearsal at the church and was about going home when he was abducted and taken to an unknown destination.

Friends and well-wishers thronged the Ogbusus’ house at Kubwa to rejoice with them on the release of Chibuike.

Looking chubby and unfazed, Chibuike seemed unconcerned about the fanfare and the numerous guests in the house as he toyed with a GSM phone.

Chibuike told PUNCH Metro that he was driven to Minna, Niger State by a lone kidnapper, adding that he was fed rice or bread twice daily.

He said he was allowed to speak with his father on the phone two days after he was abducted.

“The man (kidnapper) fed me twice a day. He gave me rice and bread and at times, potato and he allowed me to speak with my father about three times before I was released at Dawaki,( opposite Gwarimpa Estate),”he said.

Chibuike’s father, Dr. Peter Ogbusu, who was all smiles, thanked God for the safe return of his son, saying the ransom he paid did not matter as his boy was released hale and hearty.

According to him, the kidnapper had earlier demanded N10m, but the sum was negotiated to N1.5m which was dropped at a location around Dei-Dei as directed by the kidnapper.

Asked if he would allow Chibuike to attend the Boys Brigade rehearsals where he was abducted, Peter said the boy would be allowed with an escort.

“There is no way I can stop him from attending the Boys Brigade programme. I was made the vice patron of the brigade before my son joined them. He will attend the rehearsals with an escort to prevent a recurrence,” the eye doctor stated.

TARABA DEPUTY SPEAKER ESCAPES ASSASSINATION

Featured

Barely a week after the death of Speaker Taraba State House of Assembly Haruna  Tsokwa, some unknown gunmen went after his deputy, Tanko Maikarfi as he went to visit a friend in Jalingo, the capital.
The gunmen trailed him to his friend’s house at Angwan Mallam Joda area of Jalingo on Saturday at about 7. 40pm just 10 minutes after he had departed.
The friend, Alhaji Salihu Yusuf Sansani,  said about ten minutes after he had left his house with the deputy speaker, he received a phone call from neighbours that some gunmen had invaded his house.
He added that he quickly informed the police, stating that before the police arrived at his residence the gunmen had fled but met his wife in a terrible condition.
Sansani said the gunmen who were five in number and wore mask dragged his wife into the living  room where they began to shout, “where is the deputy Speaker, where is the deputy Speaker”?
He said the gunmen tied his wife’s hands and gagged her with a piece of  clothe to prevent her from screaming.  They ransacked the house in search of a file they claimed the deputy speaker had hidden there, adding that they repeatedly questioned the wife, “where is the file the deputy speaker hid in this house” but that she told the invaders she knew nothing about the file.
Sansani said the gunmen left  promising to come back again in search of the deputy speaker who the invaders claimed  was always in the house for meetings.
When contacted, the deputy speaker,  Maikarfi said: “I am shocked to hear that some gunmen were after my life few days after we lost the speaker, I don’t know who they are but God will certainly reveal their identity.”
According to the deputy speaker, “I don’t care if they kill me for standing firm for the truth, I know one day God will judge all of us.”
Maikarfi said he had reported the matter to the state commissioner of police, Mr. Jubiril Adeniji .
Taraba Police Public Relations Officer, Joseph Kwaji confirmed receiving a report from the Deputy Speaker explaining that investigation into the matter was going on.
It would be recalled that the late Speaker also survived an attack by gunmen along Akwanga-Abuja in September during which his Police Orderly lost his life with another sustaining bullet wounds during the attack on his convoy.

Honestly,it was awesome watching the weather change and dusklike setting in broad daylight! So historic!

A partial eclipse of the Sun has been witnessed on Sunday in Nigeria confirming the forecast by the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA).

Between the hours of 1:00pm to 16:00pm, local time, residents in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, experienced a flush of sunlight and mild darkness.

Not Funny:Cutting Grass As Rape Punishment?

Featured

Not funny I swear! Watching this story on CNN got me real angry and mad ! What a stupid punishment for gang rapists!

Here’s the story: Kenyans marched through Nairobi on Thursday to demand justice for a teen who was allegedly gang raped, and the suspects ordered to cut grass as punishment.

The 16-year-old was allegedly dumped in a sewage ditch after the attack, local human rights groups said.

She later identified three of six suspects, who cut grass at a police station and were freed afterward, according to the groups.

Protesters made their way through downtown to the police chief’s office to deliver a global petition demanding the arrest of the suspects. They chanted “justice for Liz” and carried placards with the same words.

Men and women waved underwear, and stuck other underwears on the gates of the police chief’s office.

Some danced, beat drums and cried.

Liz is the nickname given to the teen by the local media. CNN does not identify alleged victims of sexual abuse.

Cries for help

Liz was walking home from her grandfather’s funeral in the northwestern town of Busia when the alleged attack occurred.

Hours later, neighbors heard her cries for help and pulled her out of a latrine, bloody with broken bones, rights groups said.

My people what do you think of the punishment? Thank God they’ve been rearrested after the protest!

Abomination:Father disvirgins and sleeps with his 17 year old daughter

Featured

What actually could lead a father to disvirgin his own daughter and still continue with such shameful act?
It is really disheartening and an eyesore at the level of moral decay in our society and all round the world !

Read the full story:

A 17-year-old female student of Takoradi Senior High School (name withheld) revealed in an interview that her biological father broke her virginity and has been having s*xual intercourse with her for the past nine months, at his Adiembra residence near Sekondi.

According to the girl, her father who was sojourning in Spain returned to Ghana December last year and that was when it all started. “At the age of 16, I had not slept with any boy or man, but my father returned from Spain last December and started having s*x with me,” she said.

The girl said her parents were divorced and her father was the one taking care of her so he threatened to stop supporting her if she told anybody. “If my father doesn’t pay my fees no one will do it. My mother does not have the means to take care of me in school so I was afraid to inform anybody about my ordeal; not even my mother,” the victim claimed.

She also revealed that her father stopped her from going to church in fear that she might inform some of the church leaders of what he had been doing to her.

The girl indicated that on Friday August 23, 2013, after she had returned from school her father demanded to have s*x with her but she refused and he gathered all her belongings including school uniforms, text and exercise books and set them ablaze. “After that he still wanted to have s*x with me so I run away to a neighbour’s house and it was there that I broke the news to some of the residents.

It was learnt that personnel of the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVSSU) of the Ghana Police Service in Sekondi yesterday arrested the father and placed him in custody pending further investigations, after a report was made. Also, a medical report form was issued to the 17-year-old girl to attend hospital after which the accused person was arrested.

HEALTH CORNER: Wash Well Before Wearing

Featured

It is horrible. Guys tell your wife, sisters, girlfriends, and girl cousins wash bra before wearing.

ALL PLEASE WASH ALL BRAS, UNDERWEAR WHEN YOU BUY BEFORE WEARING THEM. WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT PARASITE IS IN OUR CLOTHES WHEN WE BUY THEM. FORWARD TO EVERYBODY YOU KNOW. LET ME FORE WARN YOU THIS IS SO SQUIMISH, I FEEL LIKE SOMETHING IS CRAWLING ALL OVER ME EVEN AS I SEND THIS TO YOU. BE AWARE. IT IS SO GROTESQUE. PLEASE WASH YOUR UNDERWEAR BEFORE WEARING. PREFERABLY IN BOILING HOT WATER.

This is not for the weak; I have never seen anything like this. Read the article first before looking at the picture and film. This looks horrible. Oh my God!!!!!!! Ladies this could happen to you and Guys this could happen to your wife, girlfriend, partner so please BEWARE,and also warn others.

It has been reported that this is happening in Kenya as well, please make sure you iron your undergarments before you wear them and make sure that your clothes are ironed when they are dry and not damp. The picture is horrible but I felt that I should share with you. After anthropologist Susan McKinley came back home from an expedition in South America, she noticed a very strange rash on her left breast. Nobody knew what it was and she quickly dismissed it believing that the holes would leave in time. Upon her return she decided to see a doctor after she started developing intense pains. The doctor, not knowing the exact severity of the disease, gave her antibiotics and special creams. As time lapsed the pain did not subside and her left breast became more inflamed and started to bleed.

She decided to bandage her sores however as Susan’s pain grew more intense she decided to seek help from a more certified doctor. Dr. Lynch could not diagnose the infection and told Susan to seek the aid of one of his colleagues who specialized in dermatology whom was sadly on vacation. She waited for two weeks and finally was able to react the dermatologist.

Sadly,a life changing event was about to unfold during her appointment.

To Miss McKinley’s surprise, after she removed the bandages, they found larva growing and squirming within the pores and sores of her breast. Sometimes these wicked creatures would all together simultaneously move around into different crevices.

What she didn’t know was that the holes were in fact, deeper than she had originally thought for these larvae were feeding off the fat, tissue, and even milk canals of her bosom.

Barr.Emeka Ugwuonye:MY GETTING MARRIED AGAIN – PERSONAL CONFESSIONS.

Featured

His love and passion for his kids was something that had endeared me to him and his frankness when it comes to the issues of his relationship and of course remarrying is always quite amazing!

Barr.Emeka Ugwuonye,a seasoned human right activist and law practictioner had through this medium on his facebook wall expressed his innermost self in all honesty. Hear Him:

“Of course, one of the most frequently avoided question from my friends and relatives is when I am going to get married again. It is a question frequently avoided. But I still know it is there on the minds of those close to me. And sometimes, I just wish they could ask, rather than pretend they are not thinking about it.

Today, I got into an inbox with a very good friend of mine and a former classmate. He is a fine chap and has done quite well for himself. He has married before too in Europe and has a child that is either a teenager or close to being a teenager. He got married (again) in Nigeria in April of this year.

When I heard about his wedding, I was happy for him but I felt that someone in my camp had left me behind. But I also wondered how my friend managed to escape from the addiction of being befriended by many beautiful women, and to say goodbye to all those nice girls. In other words, I wondered how he managed to make the decision. I said this because like me, I knew he would not cheat on his wife once married. The fact, unknown to many, is that those men who have had tremendous access to beautiful women when they were single are likely to be the most faithful husbands. For them, there is really nothing to explore again after they are married.

But making a decision could be very very difficult. And why is that? Because a truly sophisticated man understands the meaning of marriage. He understands that his wife would be an equal partner and that he would not be allowed to cheat on her. Because marriage is such a big commitment to them, they are usually slow to make the decision. But my friend did eventually make a decision. I had seen him in the past with extremely beautiful and talented women when he was single. But he gave it all up. I envied him.

Today in an inbox, my friend teased me. He said he noticed a lot of beautiful women who are my friends on Facebook. I admitted that and we began to talk about his case. In fact, his wife just gave birth to a beautiful baby. I told him how slow and scared I have been to make a decision, even though I believe I am about to. He encouraged me. I told him my worst fears about marriage – the possibility of creating a widow who would have to struggle without me. I told him I don’t want to make anyone a widow, and that I just don’t know what I am going to do about it. I told him that in making my choices, I must consider who would be able to survive as a widow in a hostile environment.

Further, I explained to my friend that I did not have the money to ensure that if my wife were to become a widow soon, I would be able to provide any protection for her economically and the children. I told him that I had lost all my money in my fight against the Nigerian Government, which is not yet over. And my friend wrote back as follows:

“You are a smart and resourceful lawyer, you will turn another corner of massive wealth soon. This is Nigeria. You should look for a woman pretty enough to intrigue you and smart enough to counsel you in certain matters, while catering for you at home as a true great woman. The rest I believe will be taken care of by God”

I was stunned by the words of my friend. He certainly has an extraordinary power to convey meanings. “…a woman pretty enough to intrigue [me] and smart enough to counsel [me] in certain matters…” That is it – pretty enough to intrigue me and smart enough to counsel me.

I think from the above, I found the definition I have been looking for for my woman. She is intriguing and brilliant.

Just sharing a very personal thought with my friends. I really wanted to be intrigued and that was what informed my choice”

This is simply splendid!

Dr. Oz: What The Color Of Your Body Can Tell You About Your Health

Featured

Health Is Wealth!!

By Dr. Mehmet Oz

Your body has clever ways of signaling health trouble. Here’s a guide to what your hue says about you.

Few people get worked up over the occasional bruise. We know from experience that a purplish spot isn’t usually cause for alarm and, in time, will clear up on its own — a classic case of the wait-and-see approach making sound medical sense. But other discolorations that may appear harmless can serve as warning signals for serious diseases, like diabetes, skin cancer, and autoimmune disorders. The sooner you pick up on the clues, the faster you can take the right steps to getting and staying healthier.

Red Tongue

Pay attention to the color of your tongue. If it becomes a bright, beefy red (the change can be subtle, but it will be noticeable), you may be low on vitamin B12. This vitamin is essential for making the red blood cells that carry oxygen throughout your body and plays a vital role in maintaining brain function. While researchers aren’t sure why a B12 deficiency affects the tongue, you may develop neurological problems, including dementia, if your levels stay low for too long.

Protect Yourself: Meat and dairy products are rich in B12, so if you’re a vegetarian or vegan, you may have a harder time reaching your daily allowance. Make sure to take a multivitamin, and consider eating fortified cereals for breakfast (some offer 100 percent of your recommended daily value of B12 in one serving).

White Skin

When pigment-producing skin cells die, you’re left with white spots that retain the same texture as the rest of your skin but lack melanin. This condition, known as vitiligo, affects up to two million Americans, the majority of cases occurring in people under 40. It’s most noticeable where skin is usually a bit darker — hands, feet, arms, face, lips. But it can also occur in the armpits, nostrils, and even on your scalp. Researchers think vitiligo may be the result of an autoimmune disease that causes your body to mistakenly attack its own cells; it’s associated with thyroid disease and Addison’s disease (in which your adrenal glands stop producing enough of the hormones that help control everything from your immune response to your sex drive).

Protect Yourself: While there’s currently no way to prevent most autoimmune diseases, you may be able to treat your white patches with corticosteroid creams, which have been shown to be effective in restoring some pigmentation. And I can’t stress how important it is to wear sunscreen. Without melanin, your skin is at much higher risk for sunburns. To conceal the spots while shielding your skin, opt for a tinted moisturizer with at least SPF 30.

Yellow Elbows, knees, hands and feet

The appearance of soft, yellowish bumps (called xanthomas) on your body — particularly on your elbows, knees, hands, and feet — can indicate dangerously high cholesterol levels, which increase your risk for cardiovascular problems including heart disease and stroke. These growths, which are painless and can range from very small to wider than three inches, are actually fat deposits that build up under the skin, often when an excess amount of lipids — due to either a genetic condition or a high-fat diet — accumulates in your blood.

Protect Yourself: Nearly 54 million women have high or borderline-high cholesterol, with 19 million falling in the high range. But while maintaining a healthy diet can certainly help keep cholesterol under control, when it comes to lowering your levels of LDL (the bad kind), exercise is critical. A 2009 study in the Journal of Lipid Research found that women who walked one extra hour or jogged an additional 30 minutes per week lowered their LDL levels by 3 percent or more. They also saw an increase in their levels of HDL (the good kind). Even better news: Once cholesterol is back in a healthy range, xanthomas may start to clear up.

Black Neck, armpits and groin

Dark, velvety patches found in your armpits and on your neck and groin are likely acanthosis nigricans. This slow-developing skin condition, which is more common in overweight and obese adults, can be a sign of type 2 diabetes. Researchers believe that insulin resistance (which causes high blood sugar and can lead to type 2 diabetes) can send some skin cells into overdrive, increasing skin thickness and darkening pigment.

Protect Yourself: To help prevent diabetes, pay particular attention to your diet. Filling up on high-fiber foods (think oatmeal, beans, and broccoli) can slow the body’s absorption of sugar and, as a result, may keep blood sugar within a healthy range. One study found that prediabetics who consumed the most fiber were 62 percent less likely to develop full-blown diabetes than those who consumed the least.

Brown Nails

The next time you do your monthly body check for new moles or dark spots, be sure to examine your nails. Dark, vertical bands (they’re typically brown but can also appear blue or black) under your nail beds — most commonly on your thumb or big toe — could be a type of melanoma. While melanoma accounts for less than 5 percent of skin cancers in the United States, it’s responsible for 75 percent of skin cancer deaths because it often goes undetected. And your risk is greatly affected by the color of your skin: Among Caucasians, only 2 to 3 percent of melanomas are found under the nail, but that number is as high as 40 percent among the rest of the population. Malignant melanomas can be easily treated if caught early, so make an appointment with a dermatologist if you notice any dark bands on your nails. She’ll do a biopsy if she suspects cancer. Protect Yourself: As with all skin cancers, prevention is key. When you apply sunscreen in the morning, take the time to coat your nails and cuticles. Maintaining strong nails can also help shield the skin beneath, so keep them well moisturized to prevent cracking and flaking. And if you use nail polish, keep in mind that some brands now offer added UV protection

Horror:Man Allegedly Murders Wife With Acid in Anambra (Graphic Photo)

Featured

We include these graphic photos because it gives the stories more life..you know they say seeing is believing, but this particular photo is horrible. I’d advice you not to look at it, but first the story.

A 33 year old man is on the run after murdering his wife with acid. On Friday October 11th, a man named Sunday Eze from Obiofia Nnewichi Nnewi in Anambra State, went to his father-in-law’s house at Edoji Uruagu to see his estranged wife, 23 year old Ebere Eze (Nee Agwuncha) who had moved back to her father’s house after falling out with her husband. The victim’s in-law said Sunday came to the house that Friday and claimed he had recently bought new plots of land he wanted his wife to see. He managed to convince Ebere to go with him to go see the land. As they approached Oraifite/Ichi axis in Ekwusigo Local Government, Sunday Eze turned on his wife and attacked her. He beat her with iron and poured acid on her. He then forced some of the acid down her throat.

The lady’s screams attracted some policemen who were passing by the area but by then, her attacker was long gone. The policemen rushed her to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi where she later died.

According to the victim’s in-law Sunday called his wife’s family yesterday Sunday 13th demanding for forgiveness for what he did, but not really saying why he attacked his wife so viciously. Sunday Eze is wanted by the Nigerian police. See the graphic pic

When will this horrible and wicked acts against inhumanity stop? God have mercy!!

Heart Attack and Water: A MUST READ! useful tips

Featured

Certainly useful information.
I think we all know this but it’s a good reminder…

Good information to try.
How many folks do you know who say they don’t want to drink anything before going to bed because they’ll have to get up during the night!!

From a friend: Hear Her!
“Heart Attack and Water – I never knew all of this ! Interesting…….

Something else I didn’t know … I asked my Doctor why do people need to urinate so much at night time. Answer from my Cardiac Doctor – Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are upright (legs swell). When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc) seeks level with the kidneys, it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier. This then ties in with the last statement! I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your body, but this was news to me. Correct time to drink water… Very Important. From A Cardiac Specialist!

Drinking water at a certain time maximizes its effectiveness on the body: 2 glasses of water after waking up – helps activate internal organs 1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal – helps digestion 1 glass of water before taking a bath – helps lower blood pressure 1 glass of water before going to bed – avoids stroke or heart attack

I can also add to this… My Physician told me that water at bed time will also help prevent night time leg cramps. Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse”.

Do forward this message. It may save lives!

NDLEA:N540m drugs seized at Lagos airport

Featured

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has said its Muritala Muhammed International Airport Command, Lagos, seized 73.090kg of narcotic drugs between July and September, 2013.

The drugs intercepted were worth N540m, while cocaine had the highest volume.

The agency also apprehended 23 suspected drug traffickers in possession of hard drugs within the period.

The NDLEA Airport Commander, Hamza Umar, who confirmed the third quarter performance report, said those arrested included 19 males and four females.

He said, “The MMIA Command intercepted 23 suspected drug traffickers and seized 73.090kg of various narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The seized drugs included 35.79kg of cocaine; 4.18kg of heroin; 9.120kg of methamphetamine and 24kg of cannabis.”

The Head, Public Affairs, NDLEA, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, told our correspondent on Friday that the Chairman/Chief Executive of the agency, Ahmadu Giade, said efforts were ongoing to dismantle drug trafficking syndicates in the country.

He said, “We have intelligence report on some drug cartels and we are working very hard to dismantle more drug cartels in the days ahead. Most cocaine import comes from Brazil, while methamphetamine goes out to South Africa and Europe. We hope to make a significant breakthrough in our counter-narcotics campaign efforts.”

Giade said the discovery of four clandestine laboratories in Lagos forced the cartel to relocate to other states.

“We got intelligence report that some of the drug syndicates are relocating from Lagos to other parts of the country in establishing clandestine laboratories for methamphetamine production,” he said.

He added, “We considered this intelligence vital to our operations because it led to the discovery of the clandestine laboratory in Nanka village, Anambra State. Intelligence report on other places where they relocated to is being processed and at the appropriate time the agency will carry out raid on their locations”.

The NDLEA boss noted that drug traffickers would always find seaports, airports and land borders attractive. He, however, said drug trafficking was a criminal offence that transcended national boundaries.

Giade said the agency would continue to adopt effective strategies in reducing drug trafficking to the barest minimum. He noted that Nigeria had demonstrated remarkable capacity to check the crime, which was evident in the agency’s scorecard.

Complex:Nigerians Obsessed With Skin Whitening

Featured

“Most Nigerian men prefer the lighter women because they are more attractive than the darker ones”
How true is this? Do you honestly believe that bleaching or *toning* your skin as people prefers calling it will make you more prettier than dark ladies or men?

I believe that its only inferiority complex that can make one to try and change the natural skin colour God had given him/her.

Skin Whitening is a world-wide phenomenon that is becoming ever more popular as people in developing nations become more flush with cash. The multi-billion dollar cosmetics industry aimed at making skin whiter and fairer is growing exponentially.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), 77 percent of women in Nigeria use skin-lightening products, the world’s highest percentage. That compares with 59 percent in Togo, and 27 percent in Senegal. The reasons for this are varied but most people say they use skin-lighteners because they want “white skin”.

In many parts of Africa, lighter-skinned women are considered more beautiful and are believed to be more successful and likely to find marriage. DO YOU BELIEVE IT?

It’s not only women though who are obsessed with bleaching their skins. Some men too are involved in the practice.

Dangerous consequences

Skin bleaching comes with hazardous health consequences. The dangers associated with the use of toxic compounds for skin bleaching include blood cancers such as leukemia and cancers of the liver and kidneys as well as severe skin conditions.

Hardcore bleachers use illegal ointments containing toxins like mercury, a metal that blocks production of melanin, which gives the skin its colour, but can also be toxic.

Systemically it causes things like kidney failure because of the mercury in some of the products and it also causes eczema, skin pigmentation among a host of other infections.

Is Bleaching one’s skin now a lifestyle or the trend in vogue?
Bleaching, often dubbed ‘toning’ is steadily on the rise.

Well known Nigerian Musician, Femi Kuti revealed to Al Jazeera, “When the bleaching propaganda got so negative, they had to come up with toning. Bleaching sounds too hard, now it’s toning. I don’t bleach, they say, I tone!”

“They think bleaching is gege,” he added.

Relationship Matters: Things He Wants To Hear You Say In Béd

Featured

For a man, nothing is séxier than a woman who is loud in bed and participates in a little dirty talk. Below are five things your man is dying to hear you mouth off about.
Him
Men want to know that you’re not visualizing someone else when you’re with them or just phoning it in, so although it may seem basic, saying (or screaming out) his name in béd is a good way to ease into dirty talk. Punctuate it with a few “ooohs” and moans and it will be more than enough to get him going.

The Action
If you’re being a tad quiet, many men will take the initiative and let you know what they’d like to hear by peppering you with questions, such as “What am I doing to you?” and “How does that feel?”
In this case, simply describing the mise en scène and how you feel will suffice. However, don’t feel like obligated to use cuss words if it’s not your style. Instead, take a cue from romance novels and utilize under-used verbs like “pulse,” “swell,” and “throb.”

Your Fantasies
Nothing counts when it’s said in between the sheets, so if you’re feeling confident, why not seize the opportunity and tell him all of your craziest fantasies and dreams? If the thought leaves you tongue-tied, try practicing in front of a mirror – especially the particularly naughty parts – until you are able to say them without feeling embarrassed or laughing.

Stock Dirty Phrases
Sometimes just having séx is intimate enough, and the idea of pouring out all of your deepest desires, especially in a new relationship, is too much. However, you don’t want to be mute. For those times, any of the following stock séxy phrases will work:
“Oh, yeah, right there!”
“That feels amazing”
“Don’t stop, harder”
“I want you so bad”
“Give it to me!”
“You animal!”

Get Creative
Men can be just as insecure as women; so sometimes a little vocal encouragement is all that’s needed to let them know that you are enjoying what they’re doing. Sometimes a few soft purrs can be just as effective as a well-rehearsed speech, so don’t be afraid to get creative. Whatever you do to cheer lead them along will make your bédroom romp all the more exciting.

Floody Sunday in Aba

Featured

This pictures were snapped on sunday morning as we all awoke to prepare for church service only to find to our dismay that the street had been flooded to the brim.

This is off Ehere Road,Opobo Junction,OgborHill Aba,Abia State. Since I visited Aba 2 weeks ago, from Ariaria/Faulks/Okigwe down to OgborHill,it had really an eyesore!! Floods and bad roads all over! God,Abians needs your intervention!

When will our state government come to the rescue of Abians on the poor state of our roads? When will Abians breath a deep sigh of relief?

I remembered the day I spent roughly 5 hours from Osisioma to reach Ogbor Hill because there was a heavy downpour causing traffic jam. What about the health implications of this floods? From malaria, thyphoid and other pipe borne water infections and diseases.

It was really an eyesore! I am pleading to our amiable Governor,His Excellency,Sir.T.A.Orji to do something pretty fast about Abia roads cos Abians are really suffering! We are supposed to be God’s Own State !!

Be Wise:The 7 Dangerous Acts After Meal

Featured

#1 Don’t smoke-Smoke after meal can be dangerous. experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes.  the chances of cancer is high.

#2 Don’t eat fruits immediately –  Eating fruits are good for health but don’t eat fruits Immediately after meals. it will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.

#3  Don’t drink tea – Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.

#4 Don’t loosen your belt – Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted & blocked.

#5 Don’t bathe – Bathing after meal will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.

#6  Don’t walk about – People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.

#7 Don’t sleep immediately – The food we intake will not be able to
digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine

[Opinion] If You’re In Your Twenties, Read This Before You Turn Thirty

I’ll tell you a painful fact, and this is the truth.

Some of us are dreamers.

We like to think we have goals, but we have mere dreams (or daydreams). We spend time elaborately describing the future we want—to ourselves and to others—and are so captured by this future that we take no meaningful action in the present.

And so that future never comes. And we feel frustrated.

Why?

Many of us have listened to motivational speeches and read motivational books that say: Create a goal, focus on the goal and work towards it. We passionately write down our incredible goals and begin to think about them dreamily every day.

People around us can see that we are not working towards this goal, but we keep talking and talking and talking about this goal. In the end we achieve nothing.

Still don’t get it? Here’s an example:

Profile of a Dreamer

A dreamer attends a motivational program/seminar/sermon or reads a motivational book and gets fired up to create a change in his life. He decides that he wants to become the next Dangote. He writes this goal down, “I want to become the next Dangote”, and probably pastes it somewhere he can see every day, so he can keep his focus.

He’s passionate about his goal and can’t wait to speak to others about it. He tells his significant other about his brand new goal, and she is excited and wants to support him. Everything seems bright and ready to go.

But one week later, he is still talking.

Two weeks later, he is still talking.

Four weeks later, he is still just talking.

Six weeks later, he gets frustrated that he has made no progress and believes that he needs a better motivational book, because the previous one—according to him—does not work.

He gets a new book or seminar, and the same thing happens again.

And this cycle continues.

Until he becomes depressed, and says the speakers are frauds who lie to get money from people.

What Mistake Did He make?

The motivational speeches/books are not the problem, but they are definitely not the solution. Motivational speakers are like traffic wardens—they show the way, but they can’t take you to your destination. That part is your responsibility.

The main summary of everything a motivational speaker will tell you to do in order to succeed is:

Create a goal and write it down
Work towards your goal with passion
Keep being focused on your goal until you achieve it
This is entirely correct. But, there’s a problem.

Many of us do the creating a goal part—it’s not that hard. We are also very passionate about our goals. But many of us forget the most important thing.

Strategic Work

When it comes down to the nuts and bolts of achieving anything at all, strategic work is the path that leads there.

Let me illustrate:

When you first want to achieve a goal, we can say that you are at A and you want to get to Z. But to get to Z, you must first go through B, then C, then D, then E, until you get to Z. This is plain logic. This means that from A, you first focus on how you’re going to get to B. When you reach B, then you can begin thinking about C.

But for many people, who are truly passionate about their goals, they are at A and they focus almost entirely on Z. This doesn’t make sense.

Let’s say you want to get to work early. Do you first focus on getting to work early? No.

You first focus on waking up early.
Then you focus on bathing and brushing in the shortest possible time.
Then you focus on eating your breakfast as fast as humanly possible.
Then you focus on getting to the bus stop and getting on the first bus you see.
After you have done all this, then you can get to work on time—but only after.

This is the only practically possible way to achieve any goal.

How Can You Apply This

First, tell yourself the truth. Have you been working strategically towards your goal, or have you been dreaming about it?

Think about this for 15 seconds.

No, really think about it.

Understand that the only way we can change anything in our lives is by first telling ourselves the truth. Do this before reading any further.

Second, think through your goal. Who are your role models that have achieved this goal already? What process did they take to get there? You need this in detail. Take the time to get this information for at least 3 or 4 people.

Third, get a piece of paper, a book or an excel sheet. If you did the second step in detail, you will notice a pattern in the success paths of the 3 or 4 people you studied. Use this pattern to construct a plan that can get you to your goal. Your plan should be good, but not necessarily perfect—you’ll modify it as you go along.

Fourth, get to work ASAP. This is the point where more than 50% of people mentally stop. The goal, the passion and the planning are so romantic—but the work isn’t. Work does two major things: 1) The more you work on your craft, the better you get at it, and 2) It is the only thing that moves you towards your goal. Sitting and thinking makes you a poor philosopher.

Gosh:And Ladies keep showing their #goodies #online

What is our world turning into for goodness sake? 20140622-181224.jpg

Saying the situation of demoralisation in the world of young folks these days is disheartening will be likened to one of the greatest of totology ever. The advent of the internet has not even made th situation more bearable, as these crazy displays have been made to flow easier and faster, making the culprits more visible to the upcoming ones, thereby administering more confidence like a drug.

Imagine how many pictures similar to the ones above that have been uncovered online. Imagine What damage it would do to the owner of this child that was nurtured to adulthood. Would we comfortably conclude that this flexibility the internet has brought in has done more harm than good?

I want to offer my virginity to BH members in exchange of the abducted girls-Singer Adokiye

20140622-180340.jpg

Since pop singer and Imo State Peace Ambassador hit stardom, she has never ceased to be a surprise package. She astounded her fans recently when she confided in Showtime that she is a virgin.

At 23, looking hot and rather willing with her liberated personality, her fans found it hard to believe, but Adokiye said it is true and that whoever wants her virginity should be prepared to buy her mother the private jet she long promised her.

But now it seems Adokiye is ready to give her coveted virginity for free, to members of the dreaded Boko Haram if they are ready to release the abducted Chibok girls in exchange.

“ This is 11pm in the night and do you know what I am thinking about? Those little girls, where they are and what could be happening to them. It is just unfair. They are too young. I wish I could offer myself in exchange,” she told Showtime.

When she was reminded that the girls could be making out time as s*x slaves, the singer/actress retorted : “ They are between 12 and15 year old girls for Christ sake. I am older and more experienced. Even if 10 to12 men have to take me every night, I don’t care. Just release these girls and let them go back to their parents.”
